Ever wonder what women wear under their beautiful dresses during the ancient times? Well, I was browsing my phone when I came across a word that got my attention. I saw the word "chopine" under the shoe category. So what was it? I thought at first that it was (maybe) used to chop while walking. Kidding aside, it was seriously a type of shoes.

Chopine was actually worn during the 15th, 16th and 17th century. As you can see on the picture on the left it's kinda weird if you have a modern prospective but it you will not only be fashionable when you wear a pair of these during those times.
